This archive begins in 2007.
The early work is about dreams, omens, myth and the reading of signs. The later work is about children, bodies, institutions and illness. It looks like several different subjects. It is one.
Every piece here is an argument with somebody who wanted to tell me what my own experience meant — a manual, a diagnosis, a school, a doctor, a government, an expert. I didn’t have words for that at the time.
Nothing has been edited. That includes the parts I would write differently now.
